AT SUTTON BANK NATIONAL PARK CENTRE

Sun 14th Aug 2016

Event: Mini-beast Madness!

Time: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Location: Sutton Bank National Park Centre

Join us in celebrating all things great about insects, and meet some people who are passionate about minibeasts!

Alex (our Catchment Partnership Officer) and Simon (River Esk Project Officer for the North York Moors National Park) will be there with some river bugs! We have a fantastic microscope for you to get up-close and personal with these fascinating mini-beasts and there will some other river bug activities - all free of charge!

There will be lots of other fun activities during the day such as make your own beastly hotel or go on a bug hunt.

This event is free for all the family and part of the North York Moors National Park's ‘Sutton Bank Sundays’, where our National Park Centre is a hive of activity - as well as the free drop-in-any-time activities, there are hands-on exhibitions, a café, adventure play area and bike rental too.

We look forward to seeing you there!
