In December 2014 Alex Cripps our Catchment PArtnership Officer attended the Westcountry Rivers Trust Conference which was an excellent opportunity to meet people from other Rivers Trusts, National Parks, other wildlife organisations and academic institutes.

A fantastic booklet has been pulled together show casing best practice for the Catchment Based Approach. Split into four sections it covers;

  • engagement
  • data and evidence
  • delivery
  • monitoring & modelling

    A wide variety of topics relating to the above sections were discussed at the conference - the titles of each talk presented are attached below.

    Such events are a great way to share ideas and learn new techniques that that will be extremely useful in developing the Esk and Coastal Streams Catchment Partnership's future projects to improve water quality and biodiversity.
